The Hocking Hills: a primordial place of huge recess caves, balletic waterfalls and claustrophobic gorges, choked with the tallest hemlocks in Ohio. Due to a warm spell fog swirled about the caves and hung in the gorges, emanating from the melting snow, creeks and waterfalls.

Very cool Gali! My brother had been extolling the park's virtues for years before I was finally able to visit it with him. I was impressed, lived up to its advanced billing.
Hocking Hills return (March 8, 2020)
Yesterday, while driving from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati I did a quick 4hr stop in Hocking Hills, this time to visit the spectacular Rock House and the impressive Cantwell Cliffs.

Cool. I went to school in Dayton. Being from the PNW, it was hard to be without mountains and evergreens. The 2 times I went to Hocking Hills were as close to home as I felt other than when I actually flew home.
