All, Friday a.m. 1/17 there is a temporary No Thru Access; Road Closed sign at Mt. Pilchuck turn off. While I was parked on MLH pondering my options, the snow plow drove by twice, and even after I tried to flag him down, he did not remove sign or stop. Mt. Pilchuck Road is ok until 2nd driveway on driver left then it is rutted and very pothole. High clearance or random Prius preferred. Heather Lake trail appears to be well boot packed as does the barricaded and gated Pilchuck Rd. which has denied all 4X4's and snowmobiles. I skiied up it a ways and it is good touring...no set tracks Friday a.m. but not break through deep/crusty either. Tom
