I have been reading a lot about the bugs. They seem to be in the news a lot, candidas aura or a sars/mers virus. Or a pig virus. Latetes one showing up in china. End of the world won't be from war, the bugs will eat us alive!

Not so. They need us

cdestroyer: no joke. Most people today die of things like heart disease and cancer. We forget that not too long ago infectious diseases took most of us. Antibiotics are becoming obsolete faster than they are being developed and approved. When the machines decide they want us gone, they'll bioengineer a pathogen to do the work. "They [the bugs] need us" won't apply - see e.g. how humans through artificial selection have created absurd plant and animal varieties that suit our purposes but otherwise wouldn't stand a chance at surviving in nature.

It's here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/first-wuhan-coronavirus-patient-identified-in-the-united-states/ar-BBZbKdj?ocid=spartanntp

It is as though I had read a divine text, written into the world itself, not with letters but rather with essential objects, saying: Man, stretch thy reason hither, so thou mayest comprehend these things. Johannes Kepler
