The list doesn't include the last couple of years.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

Well, I thought it would work.
I have this problem most of the time when the Seattle Times is the link. Won't do it again.

On a similar note... anyone have a link to the 1910 weather histories for the epic parade of snowstorms that created the great stevens pass and rodgers pass slides earlier that year? I wouldnt be all that surprised if there was no good data... it is 1910... but figured id ask.

What's the title of the article? I can see their website and search for articles but the link doesn't work.

Further Review The Big Burn.
The front page of yesterday's paper had an article about the town of Taft, Montana. Taft was a very rough place and burned up in the 1910 fires. The article I tried to reference was a spin off of the Taft article with photos and a graph of Biggest Fires. The 1910 fire was at number one.

I found the Taft article here. Can't find the other one.
FYI, when you hit a newspaper paywall you can clear your browser cache and cookies and view a few more articles.

restep, no. It was a page of pictures and a graph. Kind of a follow up to the Taft article.

This thread inspired me to read the book "The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America". It's really well written and was a good epilogue to the book I recently finished: "President McKinley: Architect of the American Century"
