Yeah, Googling "Alpental permit boundary map" doesn't produce anything more useful than that picture. I'm surprised there isn't a publicly available map somewhere that shows exactly where their boundaries are.
Well, there probably is, it just doesn't appear to be online. Probably a question for the Forest Service.
Personally, I think the ski areas should be required to publish these maps on their websites, or the Forest Service should have pages on their site about this.

This is good to hear, right from the source. I can understand the concern about avy runout on that track though. Still, it was always my impression back when I went up there a lot that they didn't really care about people using the track to access Source Lake and that as they told you, it's more about uphill traffic on the runs and in the back bowls.
