Cool B_S...( couldn't bring myself to use your initials without the underscore.... ) Maybe they'll find more interesting stuff as the erosion continues.

I'm surprised this made it into the news but it was probably because of being on a public trail. These finds are a regular occurrence on Whidbey Island where I live but the Dept. of Archaeology and Historic Preservation is deliberately secretive about them. The sites are not included in any real estate disclosures either, as I found out the hard way after discovering I bought a designated archaeological site.

Schroder, so much truth on that. Anything around Fort Casey/Crocket Lake is not where I'd buy land. Nor in Oak Harbor.
A long time ago, when a certain store was still in business on Pioneer Way it was common knowledge to those who worked in the area that Native bones were in the cellar, sitting on the dirt. When the city of OH and its idiot mayor ignored all the warnings and dug up Pioneer Way, wow, no shocker...they unearthed many human remains. Utter idiots! All of Pioneer Way was built on burial grounds.....
