The most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, lives about an hour away from me, and he predicted an early spring. Yeah right! We've had an incredibly warm winter so far; only once have the temperatures dropped to 10F, whereas by now we should've had a few days of sub-0 temperatures. Today, I began a hike in 30F weather. It was snowing, and quite beautiful:

However, by the time I finished the temperature was 50F and all that snow had melted! That's more like March weather, not January/February.

So, my answer to Punxsutawney Phil is: Yeah right! Winter hasn't even started yet! dizzy.gif
