You'll need a Hancock permit for this one, which will set you back $45. Formerly Weyerhauser land, it now belongs to the Muckleshoot and is managed by Hancock.
With one month left on my 2019/2020 permit, I figured a rainy Sunday would be a good day to put it to use. Parked at the gate, walked the road for a little bit, then followed the old trail up to the pretty falls. Saw a few signs of spring along the way. The area around the falls was lush - so refreshing to see this time of year.
