You'll need a Hancock permit for this one, which will set you back $45. Formerly Weyerhauser land, it now belongs to the Muckleshoot and is managed by Hancock. With one month left on my 2019/2020 permit, I figured a rainy Sunday would be a good day to put it to use. Parked at the gate, walked the road for a little bit, then followed the old trail up to the pretty falls. Saw a few signs of spring along the way. The area around the falls was lush - so refreshing to see this time of year.

Seems like an excellent gloomy day destination. Love the verde. And the old campsite and fence that nature is reclaiming.

Passing rocks and trees like they were standing still
