This last storm which was piddle especially in the NW Cascades dumped a lot of snow at Mission Ridge and presumably in some other locations - Sawtooths? Stuart? - and likely in the Mt. Aix area. Low density snow fell with strong NE to E winds and there is no reason to expect it should be well-bonded. It may remain weak on less sunny slopes and there could be more snow in those areas the end of next week and perhaps beyond periodically to towards the end of the month.
Pay attention to the avalanche forecasts in those regions: www.nwac.us
