Nice post, well done!  Did you follow the creek for a bit and then climb straight up to the ridge at 2800?  Also, to get around the upper lake head wall, would you follow the slope up on the east side of the upper lake till you hit the ridge then go north?

We found the faint trail along the creek on the way down. Probably 1/4 mile of schwacking to decent tread from the main baker lake trail.
As for the upper lake headwall, pass the lake on the nw side and find the best slopes for your liking. I'm sure different slopes look better than others depending on time of year

Matt, I think it was taken from the rise between the upper Blum Lake and the gully that leads down to the middle lake.
