Self quarantine allows one to indulge in more leisure activities; in my case, assembling and editing video and photos. I chose close to 100 photos of Mt. Rainier from various vantage points, some on trail, on the roads, off trail and far afield cross country. The mountain presents faces in almost unlimited variety, depending on the time of day, time of year, and position on the orbit. Decades of hiking in the park in all seasons allows me to present this comprehensive assembly, starting at Longmire and proceeding clockwise around the mountain. Presented in 4K, please enjoy!

Thanks williswall for putting this together and sharing it with us. I got about a third way through it. The music for me was too plaintive, mournful, even haunting. Kind of made me sad and worse. So I will watch this again with some other music--perhaps more chill. Music is a tricky thing. Very hard to get that right since we all have various tastes. But I loved the images. This must be moving for you to see all these years assembled together. Thanks, ~z

WW...absolutely lovely. Did you notice that the place names seem like a poem? cool.gif

I'm really partial to your moodiest atmospheric shots, Willis - at Cowlitz Divide, Mowich Lake Road and Carbon River. The music worked great, I thought; contemplative, not "jangly". Thanks for sharing this! up.gif

Spectacular! Thanks for putting this together; I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are quite a few stunning shots in there, but my favorite, most flattering view of the mountain, based on your video, has to be from Spray Park.

So many great images! Thanks for your work to put this together! I tend to watch stuff on this site with my computer on mute--since I usually listen to my own music choices.

Willis, Thank you sharing, fantastic collection. The Sunset Park photo at 2:11 is outstanding. Perfect Reflection. Do use a soft gradient filter to achieve the really dark blue sky appearance?

Actually, many shots taken above 5000’ have that deep blue, sometimes bordering towards black. I do process the shots but don’t usually fiddle with the sky much nor do I add saturation.

Thanks for a beautiful video and especially the captions! On of my pet peeves is beautiful outdoor shots without any information about them.
