This list is not complete or fully up to date.  If something is not listed here, that doesn't mean it's open.  We've compiled this list for the convenience of hikers.

Roads
Only high-use roads that are important to hikers will be listed here.

I've locked the various threads relating to trail and park closures.  While a large portion of the community seems capable of engaging in conversation that fosters community, it seems to bring out the worst in others.  I'm going to leave this thread open with a wiki to post if anyone wants to put in the effort of consolidating (not that anything is really open).  There have been many personal opinions shared regarding how to interpret the rules, I don't think we need to rehash all of that.  There are a dozen locked threads if anyone wants to sample them.

Good move. This was starting to get out of control. Let's get back to discussing the outdoors and helping each other rather than arguing about politics.

BLM land still open. Did the Odessa-Lakeview Ranch loop and the Twin Lakes loop among others this week.
Spokane County and City parks open too. Light use at Dishman Hills and Slavin Pond.

People need to learn to disagree amicably, without making anything personal.

We also need to remember everybody in here shares an important part of our life.  In the ways that matter, anybody who posts here is more alike than different. (General public: "you want to walk ten miles do we can sleep in the dirt?")

Thanks Tom for closing those threads before people started making enemies.

In who knows how long, I'm going to bump into half of you on a trail somewhere.  If you recognize me from a selfie I posted in one of my trip reports, say hi.

It's a bit different when life or death is at stake.

Even the WH&C Facebook page is taking a strong stance on encouraging people to stop being selfish, stay home and save lives.

Totally agree. What exactly will it take for folks to just follow the request? Contracting it yourself? Or a family member in grave condition? Sheesh, this is temporary. Besides, it is giving nature a much needed break from the stresses of humans and machines cluttering up their days.

As of last night this didn't seem to need repeating, but  perhaps it's worth quoting now?

Any way to keep the wiki open but disable comments?

Some don't seem to have taken Tom's gentle hints.

I don't think it's necessary to go to extremes.  These are challenging times but let's not lose focus on what brings us together, and exercise a little more self control before hitting the submit button. As grey matter said, "It’s fairly easy these day to be on edge, to assert your opinions on the internet, or get defensive when someone else is thinking differently than you."

Quote:
Effective April 3, 2020, North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake National Recreation Area, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area will be closed to all park visitors until further notice.  State Route 20-North Cascades Highway, which runs through the park, will remain open to just west of the town of Newhalem. The closure point on the east side will remain at milepost 177 (Early Winters Campground).

Besides the closure of the Icicle River Road, mentioned in other posts, the OKA-WEN NF has also issued an ‘area closure’ (that is a specific term, for a small area) for the very popular Fun Rock climbing near Mazama, on the Methow District.
