I'm into animal cams, especially right now when all the nesting stuff is going on. Here are some of my favorites. Anyone else have any: Maryland Eagle (brand new eaglets) Very fertile barn owl Burrowing Owls in Tri-Cities Wa

oh yes... www.africam.com click on the Nkorho Stream link on the left side of the screen. It is a watering hole in Africa, tons of cool animals! I've seen monkeys, lions, elephants, and alot more. I love it. It has sound too.

You will love this list of cams for the National Z00 in DC. http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/WebCams/ If you look at the kiwi cam you might even see my sister- (she does the research on them - she has just been invited to the New Zealand Embassy by the ambassador for recognition of her work) http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/Birds/default.cfm?cam=Kiwi http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/Birds/NewsEvents/kiwi.cfm

hijacked.gif By me. doh.gif Back when Africam first started, it was big on "audience participation", and I actually captured the year's winning screenshot, a close-up of a leopard in a tree. Unfortunately, I was one of five or six people who got the same pic, and one of the others won the draw for the trip to South Africa. frown.gif

Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

The Stanley Park Bald Eagle cam is going again - no eggs yet. http://www.infotecbsi.com/wildlife/index.asp?ch=Wildlife&sh=eaglecam And for night owls, or graveyard workers here is a stork cam from Vetschau, Germany. It is light when most of the others are dark (except Africam, of course). http://www.storchennest.de/en/index_live-video.html

There's a nice webcam set up for some Peregrine Falcons in Florence Italy. Here's an article from the Telegraph on it. Check it out early in the morning when it is late afternoon in Italy.

It's nesting and laying time again. 2 different barn owl moms have eggs this year. Herons are fixing up their nests and the eagles should be doing their thing soon. Check out all the links.
