Alleged Sockpuppet!

I was out on a walk and almost home.  Walked by the property of the neighborhood bad boy (flies the confederate flag, proud to be a "redneck" etc.) and got a whiff of something strong that made my nose burn.   In fact, it still feels it, a half hour later.  My dog seems to be unaffected.

Meth or improperly applied herbicide?

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

Meth is considerably harder to make at home these days. The so called Nazi method used pseudofed and some relatively available chemicals. The government placed limitations on sale of pseudofed and monitored large quantity use. Drug companies changed their formula using another ingredient much more difficult to use. The current methods use some more exotic chemicals. As a result most is made in Mexican superlabs controlled by gangs ala “Breaking Bad. Sales of precursor chemicals are monitored. Probably the neighbor is using agricultural chemicals some of which can be as dangerous as meth.

Not sure how they are making it up here on the mountain loop, if they import it or get it here, but several people who use it have gone completely insane up around Robe and Verlot. One young guy who lived by the Robe store went completely off the rails last winter. He carjacked a disabled lady in Granite Falls, her cell phone was still in the vehicle so police were able to track him. He ended up with like 7 felonies and is still in jail. Prior to that he had been in a mental hospital after essentially losing his mind from meth use. It's very sad what it does to people, destroying their minds, bodies, and souls...not to mention the grief that their families have to endure. shakehead.gif
