This is not hiking related and going to spiral into contentious debate and politics. The goal is for NWH to be a respite from such topics. If you want to discuss these type of topics there are many places you can go on the internet to do this. I don't see that it adds value here, quite the opposite as it tends to inject negative energy into the forum. Please invest your energy in making this community a place that people want to return for hiking related discussion and that fosters community.
