...looking for day hikes in the Methow...
My old 100 Hikes book shows a trail (hike No. 73 in the "North Cascades" book) that starts at 5400' on the Harts Pass road, and then follows the North Fork of Trout Creek down to a junction with the South Fork. I can find no mention of this trail here or at wta. Anyone scout this recently?

Is it this one? It looks like the trip report and description were written by the same person who went in 2019. Navigation sounds...interesting, but it could be fun!

Well raise my rent! Thanks Windstorm!
I searched on "Trout Creek Trail" instead of "Trout Creek" and the wta search engine is very unforgiving. This was exactly the information I was looking for.

You're welcome!
Ahh, yes, website search engines can be very frustrating. A lot of times I just give up on them and use Google. In this case, I was surprised to find something so recent, especially since the Forest Service hasn't bothered to update the trail status since 2011. It sounds like quite the adventure.
