anyone know of any camp spots near the glacier peak mine? in particular close to where the old miner's cabin trail #795 intersects with the miner's ridge trail 785 at ~5600' or a short distance on the trail east or west of there? also has anyone recently been on the old miner's cabin trail and can report on its conditions? :>)

There is a good campsite at Lady Camp where 785 drops down the ridge it is usually used by horsemen. Near the intersection with 795 there was an old miners cabin now a pile of rotten wood where you could camp, looks like a mouse camp. Excellent camp where 785 meets the PCT which is heading to Suiattle Pass. Another small camp @ the start of 795 half way up ridge. Most of 795 traverses a steep hill with few benches creeks are steep gullies. Will not be heading up until road gets better.

It has been going downhill since it was reopened every year it gets worse. A Subie can get up it but it is very slow now. Went up with a 4Runner last year without damage.
