It begins, although these are from the grocery store and not from the orchard up the road, which will soon be selling, I hope! These are not as fresh either, but-- Mmmmmm, my favorite fresh fruit BEGINS.

Shoulda ate those cherries before posting. I was disappointed. They lack the flavor of fresh really local cherries. The grocery advertised them as "local" but local must mean Yakima. Today I'll head to the Farmer's Market and see if the usual folks are selling really Local cherries.
I usually buy them from a fruit stand up the road, but they are not open and the cherries on trees do not look ripe at this time.
