This was a Canyoneer pre-hike (to assess conditions of trail & flower progress before leading the public), and we had a good turnout of leaders for this short 'n easy hike in the desert. Glorieta Wash is one canyon south of Glorieta Canyon...& they look pretty similar to one another except that the wash has some plane wreckage. dizzy.gif doh.gif Heading up the wash:

Aircraft wreckage or semi-disposable external fuel tank?

Keep Calm and Carry On? Heck No. Stay Excited and Get Outside!

Either a fuel tank or maybe a float plane lost it on landing. agree.gif
