100%.
I don't care about you, society, or really much else in general. Not political at all for me. Just a selfish, narcissist ass####.

Back in Idaho now after an unexpected return to Wa for a week.
Went from 90% mask wearers to 10% here near the wa-id border.
Luckily for me, social distancing is something I do pretty well.

There's more of a problem here on the west side than casual observation at grocery stores might suggest - cases are increasing here, too. I heard on KUOW today that numbers of positives in King County (or they may have said Seattle) have just doubled - from 40/day to 80. Stay safe this holiday, folks.

According to comments about an editorial in the Wenatchee World urging folks to wear facemasks, The Stupid now argue that nobody under age 60 has died from Covid so it isn't that bad of a virus after all. Guess they aren't considering medical bills, 'cept they also state that there are no cases in the Wenatchee hospital so that proves it isn't that bad of a virus to get.
I was delighted to see a couple of school teachers mention that perhaps a class in science should be required for all in the Wenatchee area--again if they ever had any. One pointed out that her sixth graders could reason better than the posters.
I will visit the Walmarche this morning and see if things have changed in a week.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

716 new cases in WA on 7/1.
Yakima and Franklin counties have the highest % of the population affected with 284 and 185 cases per 100K population. (King county is at 47.3 cases per 100K) Garfield county still at zero cases.

Assuming this is candor and not a trolling schtick, you seem to have all the necessary qualifications for a successful career in business and/or politics.

The Walmart Report:
They have a sign on the door saying masks are required. There is a greeter/counter who is now thanking folks for wearing masks. Saw one old guy without and a crew of meat stockers not wearing masks. Other employees had noses uncovered.
That's it for Omak.
Many shelves were bare this morning. I have no idea why unless yesterday was insane and it is the first part of the month.

I think you might have read some judgment into my post that wasn't intended. I wasn't saying that not everyone is "stupid" cuz in fact some people are just "jerks." Nor was I pointing to anyone in particular or offering any judgment. My point was that referring to those who believe and act differently as "stupid" was likely not only unhelpful, but also inaccurate.
Moreover, IMO the fact that some people truly just don't care about others is only one of those "other" reasons. You self-identify as one of those people, and that may or may not be true; since I don't know you I really have no idea. OTOH, given your earlier predictions about this all blowing over by June, or that the season's flu was going to kill more people, some might argue you seem to fall into the mis- or uninformed group. Or maybe both groups, or maybe neither. Again, I don't know, and of course it really makes no difference to my original point.
Indeed, arguably another group act differently might be those who simply enjoy, or even feed off the notoriety and attention of being an "outlaw," and of course part of that is making sure everyone knows you're an outlaw.

This sentence makes as much sense as the sentence: Zen and apples are still trumping socket wrenches and oranges, but just barely. You are comparing two political systems, an economic system, and a philosophical concept.
But let's cut to the chase here. An apt analogy to the mandate for wearing a mask during a pandemic is a DUI law. Both are meant to try protect people from harm caused by the careless actions of others. So, logically, you should either think that both are reasonable, or both are violations of your constitutional rights. If not, why not?

The bare shelves may be due to the holiday (ie, fewer deliveries). I noticed a lot of random items (like certain produce and hot dogs) were really low at the local Fred Meyer.
This morning around 10 am I was near the Shoreline Costco so decided to fill the gas tank. Thought I might dip into the store to pick up something I needed. NOPE! The parking lot was so full I figured there was no way to practice adequate social distancing inside. Even if every person inside was wearing a mask, I wouldn't have felt safe. It seems Costco has dropped their practice of limiting the # of people in the store now that the state's mandated masks in public spaces.

Not at all, CJ. But it's a chance to improve the odds. Just check the statistics for your area (or not), and then like one of my heroes would say, "You gotta ask yourself a question: 'Do I feel lucky?' "
Well, do ya?

You actually trust the "statistics" that they are feeding to us?
I believe them about as much as I believe that Epstein committed suicide.

The same ones that staged the moonlanding and spread chemtrails. Which you'd think would be less effective now, with fewer jets overhead. Huh. They must have changed the formula or something.
