Honestly, to me it looks like a top view of a hiker wearing a bluish ballcap.
I think you are right. It looks like part of a foam matress on the right. It would explain why I could not find it again the last time I went up there... This photo is off Exit 38, behind the climbing walls up on Change Creek trail. I am now convinced (with the suggestions of others on this site) that it is indeed a hiker. Sorry for wasting your time! shakehead.gif

wow this is an interesting study in mind association and perception. When I first viewed it, it was through the lens of plane/car/wreckage, hot air balloon. It never crossed my mind to be a hiker until it was suggested. Once you look at the visual with that in mind, there is no doubt that's what it is. You can see they are wearing a short sleeved shirt and you can see their arm on the right (their left arm). Great job sleuths!

Agree that this is a hiker with a pack and both elbows are visible as well as the pack straps.

Wait a sec, a hiker that wasn't moving? Something about this quest doesn't add up....

Well if this turns out to be a person, that wasn't a very flattering way to describe them.

Kind of looks like he is stuck in a tree or taking a wizz
