Mad a summit of mastiff 6-17 with the plan to summit Howard and overnight at Canaan lake. The conditions did not look good on Howard as it was whiteout the entire approach, so we changed plans grabbed Mastiff then walked back down the S ridge and linked up on lost lakes S ridge to camp for night. Walked out mostly on snow the normal route from lost lake the next day. Great trip will need to try to bag Howard another time I guess maybe using a Rock approach instead of Mastiff.
