Went up to the lake for Saturday night. Scatter creek was deep and my RAV4 was just high enough. The meadows were spectacular! The meadow 1/2 mile up was just melted out. About half way up, snow dominated. It was about 2 feet of consolidated snow. The camp sites around the lake were bare and pretty dry. Sunshine gave way to rain about 5PM. Rainy and windy off and on til about 10PM. Sunny in the morning.

Often enjoyed a swim there after a trip higher up the trail...once you manage to wade through the mud untl it is deep enough.
