Has anybody ever checked out the mine by discovery peak? I can’t seem to find it or really any info or maps on it.

I've been up that direction a couple times and did a very cursory search. I didn't see anything obvious.

The summitpost page for Discovery Peak mentions it but it doesn't sound like poster had been able to find it. It's not listed in the MRDS. It's probably very minor, whatever it is.

Video someone posted https://www.reddit.com/r/Washington/comments/pyzdeh/discovery_peak_and_the_abandoned_copper_mine/ Looks like there is a boot path to Discovery Lake. Most likely it takes off from the closed (red dashes) USFS road.

Wow nice find Joey! More extensive than I was expecting but still not much. Must be some pretty installed sections if they went to the effort of timbering so much of the tunnel. I would imagine it was all hauled out with a wheelbarrow with how windy it the adit is. I'm surprised that it's not in the MRDS. It makes me wonder how many mines there are that aren't in any database.

Correct. Walk the remainder of 2270-560 to the end, and there's an obvious boot path that goes to the lake. Also a boot path that crosses the outlet and gets you started on your route up to Disco Peak. FWIW, you used to be able to drive a short way down 560 to a wide spot before you hit the closure. This was a great place to camp for a weekend of exploring. But I heard a rumor that they were moving the 560 closure out to 2270 - probably from some thread on this site.

Confirmed. Look for the sign.
