Katinka, in your video, you said, "Goat Rocks is ... high, remote, filled with beauties, unmarred by humans." I wonder if you'd consider helping to keep it that way by not posting videos about it...
Being quiet about the Goat Rocks is like keeping New York City a secret. dizzy.gif Search YouTube for Goat Rocks and see if you can find the end of the resulting list.

@ Texasbb Very true. And many Yahoos. On the way up, I asked a guy coming down if there were open camp sites. His response: "You don't need one. There's acres of meadows." frown.gif I was too winded for a lecture.

I was also in that very busy area 7/24-26. Beautiful, but the only reason I went on a weekend is because I had met a friend to climb Adams on 7/23 and was right in the area. Went from Nannie Ridge and camped past Cispus Basin, which was full. Went up Old Snowy and was surprised by the amount of snow enroute. Came back and chilled with dogs in shade at camp and then reset camp near Sheep Lake, which was full. Early out the next morning to avoid the bugs and heat. I’ll be back, but midweek and when it is not as hot.

striving to stand like mountain yet flow like water, and make the dogs happy
