It was great to finally get out backpacking. Had a friend from California fly up with Lake Victoria our chosen destination.

Thanks for not posting the route. That one is a annual cinco de mayo trip. I've never been there when it's snow free. I enjoy the spring avalanche display

We were lucky and ran into one of the people that owns the private land you have to walk through. He was super nice and showed us the best route there. If not for him I can see how easy it would be to either go to low or too high and get cliffed out. I wouldn't recommend unless you are pretty good with off trail. The path I was planning was wrong. With the mess that the enchantments are and being right next door I won't post the route.

As depicted in your video, isn't that enormous boulder shelter just the coolest!? Like you say, very easy to funnel yourself into the drainage or track too high. There definitely is a tight target zone
