Kirsten and I went out to do these two peaks up by Poodle Dog Pass. Silvertip. I got some good info from b00. I used it. Also some good beta here: Silvertip Route We camped near Silvertip Lake. Lotsa people there. And all very courteous people!
Columbia. 8 hour round trip from Silvertip Lake to the summit and back. About 3 sections that had class 4. And many sections of class 3. I brought a scramble back up rope. Had to use it in one location for my comfort level. Good trip report on info here: Columbia Peak trip report

hmm silvertip looks fun (columbia sure was) but maybe not something i should solo. i like the dreamy effect from the grease on your lens smile.gif
