Any info on recent trips out to this area. Will be doing another Glacier Peak climb and just looking to make sure the road and trail in are open. Thanks in advance.

We hiked up the trail a few weeks back and then headed from there down to Steven's Pass. No problems. Easy peasy.
The thing that surprised me the most was the number of cars at the trailhead and up and down the road. I hadn't been there in probably 7 or 8 years and it blew me away.
Also, if you are coming from Granite Falls, about a mile before you turn right onto FR49 they are doing some major construction on the MLH. New culvert? Drainage? Not sure. Anyway, you may spend a few minutes waiting there.
