Flowers are amazing this year. Paradise side flowers seem to be a few weeks behind those on Sunrise side. Trails are dry and dusty. Evening is a great time to be there after the masses have headed out. Paradise...

Mike, I was up at Paradise on Monday (Skyline Trail). Flowers are perfect now. I’m still in the area and was debating Naches Loop on the way home. I saw your’s and another post. How ridiculous are the middle week morning crowds? We hiked to some waterfalls on the wonderland today to escape the masses.

Your pictures are superb! I agree about flowers this summer. I was amazed at both the variety and abundance of flowers in a remote area of the Pasayten lately, among the most glorious floral displays I have ever seen in my 73 years. Then in another area east of Bellingham the flowers were peaking just days earlier. That area is usually infrequently visited, but cars were parked down the road on that particular Friday.
