At this time of year I always love it when we get some rain.
A soothing balm, and help for our dry forests. :-)

Not much out here in Verlot yet, some over night and hopefully more tonight and tomorrow.

Rainfall at Baker totaled over 2" with .2" as far east as Lyman Lake. Snoqualmie and Paradise had about 1/2" but none fell at Crystal or White.
The center and Western Slopes of the Olympics got from 1.5" to over 4", which should have put the recent fire starts pretty much out of commission.

We arrived at the Boulder Rv trail head yesterday just when the biggest brunt of the rain hit. Just as we were exiting the trail, it stopped and patches of blue sky appeared.
That's OK. It's what Boulder River is there for.
