I'm looking at yellow leaves on a maple right now, I saw a few blueberry bushes with red leaves last weekend. What have you noticed? The changing of the seasons is always a beautiful thing to watch, even when it's about to plunge us into a thousand years of darkness from November to April.

Coolness to the air in the evening that doesn't feel like summer anymore.

I have noticed a larger number of robins in the area, probably feeding on their way south,, again.

Chatted with somebody yesterday at High Camp on Baker (near the Easton), he said he woke up to frost on his bivy sack yesterday. We saw more fall color in blueberry leaves. The air has a slight chill to it, even at the trailhead.

Was surprised to find some frost on the Tatoosh Ridge trail yesterday morning, including on the tops of some Western Pasqueflowers - definitely felt like a collision of seasons smile.gif
