The freezing level this morning at Quillayute is 17,100', also at Portland, and 17,200' at Pendleton, and 16,700' at Boeing Field. The ZSE model predicts that at noon today Quilayute and Boeing Field will reach 18,100 and 18,200'. This model has somewhat over predicted the freezing level of late but it is still likely Boeing Field and Quillayute will break the previous record of 17,300' set on the day Seattle reached 103F. The freezing level is forecast to drop to a still ridiculously high 16,500' beyond this period.

I see 18.1kft or so on the UIL balloon this morning. Crazy high. Most planes out of seatac and pdx are saying 15-16kft right now... though a few 17s are popping up.
