All California  National Forests are closed no campgrounds or dispersed camping. Anything that could be an ignition source including campfires, Gas Stoves, charcoal bbqs, and Camp Stoves are banned until further notice. Hikers still on the JMT are told to assemble at Vermillion Valley Resort (Lake Edison, Muir Trail Ranch, and Reds Meadow for identification until it can be determined whither to evacuate. Travel on the John Muir Trail is not allowed. frown.gif
