That's crazy. It could hit 90 next week here. I bet a lot of people on both sides are a little jealous.

Very weird weather indeed! Yesterday, I talked to a friend who lives up in the foothills west of Fort Collins, CO. It was 100 there yesterday, not real unusual but close to a record. There is a large fire in the mountains that is blowing up and headed towards him. Tuesday their high will be just above freezing, with a lows in the teens. He said NOAA Weather calling for ‘record’ amounts of snow all along the Front Range of Colorado.. Several nights below freezing will follow. As he put it - “It’s too effin’ hot to winterize anything”!

Just looked at the webcams for Red Lodge ski area...snowing and blowing! https://www.redlodgemountain.com/webcam/ And...121 degrees in Woodland Hills, California yesterday!

Makes me a bit lonesome....I spent so many years - (40+) - driving over those passes summer/winter, now we don't anymore. We switched to Amtrak for Christmas trips a few years ago, and then there's this year - nowhere. I just SO want to get in the car and GO....somewhere. Well, next summer maybe.

I don't understand how these airs are stayin' separate!! 120 degrees in one spot down to 30 in another!!! Nothin in between, these two airs should mix!! Temps should even out!! Im thinkin its probably due to an invisible wall or something. Has to be! How else would it be different in two different spots with nothin' in between!!!

Supposed to get down to 18 degrees tonight in Pinedale in the southern Winds...a bit nippley.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I'm going swimming from Seward Park today. It's heading toward 92F. In Seattle of all places. And there's 3 inches of snow on the ground in Yellowstone. The fires up and down the west coast are terrifying, we could use a lot of snow out here.
