Surprised this case is not making it into the Seattle Times and other west of the Cascades news. The three elected commissioners of Stevens County have been removed from office for impropriety. At this moment, there are no commissioners in Stevens County (that should change soon as there is a process for appointing new ones). Ironically, one of the commissioners who was just removed is still on November ballot and if elected, would go back to being a commissioner.
