Today be Int'l talk like a pirate day. Landlubbers who fails to say a few "arrghs" or "mateys" may be walkin' the plank later!

My Avast antivirus software is always in "pirate mode". Time to swab the decks and make the stowaways walk the plank.

You can also set pirate as your language on Facebook, too. I've done that, and that's interesting.
Sadly, right now I'm a poseur. Sigh.

I'm going to try that right now! Thanks.
It works, once you know how. Go to account settings, language, then choose "pirate" as your English dialect. We should have that here. Matey.

That is hilarious. Some folks here are on the nwhikers facebook page, and it's now calling you "Cap'n", or "bilge rat", or even "scallywag". Somehow it seems to know which is which......

Try Westport the last weekend of June--Rusty Scupper Pirate Days. It's lots of fun--my grandkids love it!

Yeah, me too. In the spirit of the day, here's a tune from one of my favorite Canadians; though strictly speaking, I guess privateers aren't pirates (but could be):
"There are yahoos out there. It’s why we can’t have nice things." - Tom Mahood
