https://komonews.com/news/local/columbia-river-gorge-trails-reopened-after-2017-wildfire Interesting timing as far as COVID, this is one of the narrowest trails I've ever been on, there's a sheer cliff into a river on one side. I imagine it will get insanely packed having been out of commission for so long. That said, it's a real gem and I'm glad to see it back!

Outstanding news! Probably my favorite trail in the Columbia River Gorge area. The exit off I-84 was still blocked off on Thursday morning when I drove by. Yeah, I would guess this trail will be absolutely slammed with all the people who have been missing hiking there for 3 1/2 years I believe it's been closed.

No doubt In a trip report a few years ago I wrote... "I've had my fill of snow this winter. We went South in search of Pterodactyl, Triceratops, Mosasaurus, and other things that can kill you. Including slips and falls from really, really, really high cliffs"

Experience is what'cha get, when you get what'cha don't want

Yea, I saw this announcement via the PCTA. Most of the PCT thrus will like this. I think more of them do this alternative than the actual PCT , even though this doesn't dump out into the town like the PCT does. Rumi
