Another super easy hike. I have been to the balcony before, but not all the way to the peak, and it was back in 2011, at night, doing SAR.
There is no snow at the lower level. Above the balcony snow eventually starts, and it was snowing in the morning, but with so many people the trail is so beaten down, I never took the snowshoes out.
And I totally forgot to visit the Museum. Now I have to come back again? Oh, no!

Nice photos. It's great to see how things look up there. Pretty dark at times. Still you could see a ways below the clouds. ~z

Thanks, it was raining and it turned into snow in the morning when we were going up. We couldn't see much at all. But as soon as we left the summit, clouds started to part. It was still pretty dark, but we could see more and more. By the time we got back to the trailhead the sky looked blue above! It is fun to see the weather change so fast.

It may be close, it might be easy, but it's still a classic! Looks like a fun day.
