(Sorry, but couldn't resist) Decided to take a stroll in the woods today-- Was hoping for some snow anyway!
Drove to snopark on FS 73 and hardly any snow on the road there-- maybe 1/2 "...
Also checked out snopark at Silver Springs and while there is a little more snow (maybe 1"?) it's barely skiable and certainly don't need snowshoes. So went on a walk along the White River on Skookum Flats trail. Not many people out so trail was lovely and quiet, with just a dusting of snow in the trees.
Skookum Falls was beautiful with some ice mixed in with the water and the sun was shining through the trees.
Forecast calling for more snow down below 1,000 feet later this week and it was starting to snow a bit when I pulled out!
