Maybe for one of your "light" workouts, A loop I've enjoyed is to drive to the North Rattlesnake trailhead and ride my bike to North Bend along old-hwy-10 and then pick up the Snoqualmie Valley trail and follow it to the South Rattlesnake trailhead, lock up the bike and trail run back to the car at the North trailhead. The 1st section on the trail is certainly mask on terrain, but once you are past the Ledge and all the instagram hikers it's pretty empty. Reccommend a bike with minumum of 1 1/4 inch / 32 mm wide tires, preferably wider -- the Snoquamile Valley trail is gravel and good condition, but narrow roadie tires would pretty jarring.
