Just wondering if there is a gate at the end of this road. I was there probably around 1996 or 1997 with my brother who loves to hike. It's the beginning of the old CCC road. Thanks for any information on this.

Yes there is a gate. Limited parking. Might have to park at Teneriffe Falls trail head.

It's gated shortly past the river crossing at 488th Ave SE, but the last "public" place to park is at 480th Ave SE. Beyond that are signs indicating it's a private road. Depends how you feel about risking getting towed I guess?

Those signs refer to the land adjacent to the road, despite how scary property owners want them to appear. There are only 2 parking spaces at the end, though. Personally I prefer the Sitka Spruce trail to access that end of the CCC, but land managers prefer people walk in from Teneriffe parking or Bessemer (boring).

Here's a photo of the gate. The "parking" is just a wide spot left of the road before the gate. Yes, you can legally park here and hike up the CCC road. Don't forget your Discover Pass.
