I drove Highway 2 from the UP of Michigan all the way to Everett back in the summer of 1990. In a Dodge Tradesman 300 extenda-butt conversion van. Swam in Lake Michigan but could only dip a toe in Lake Superior- Brrrrr. We used to take back roads across the country back in the good old days of no cell phones. Loved the adventure of being "off the grid". I've made that back and forth trip a dozen times, the last being when I moved to SEA in December 1990...nasty time of year to be driving through Nebraska and Wyoming. Actually the worst of it was the blizzard driving over the Blue Mountain Summit - white-out to the disorientation point of spinning upside down. Past a couple of bicyclists in that snow- crazy dudes!

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.
