I was going to post article from youtube but it seems they now show ads, and I am finding many web sites also show ads before you get the article you clicked on???

I avoid clicking on any article on web sites that includes a video beacause it is usually an ad with a short clip.

While posting $55B revenue (4/5 of which came from advertising) yesterday, Google/Alphabet claimed to be “still scratching the surface” over how much money it could make from YouTube.

Youtube/Google learned the ad thing from watching how porn sites make their money. I read that in an article. So basically, the ad thing popping up was developed by porn sites.
