So ran across them..supposed to be well made but perhaps the lighter materials.. Pricing seems great for beginner hikers. The sleeping bag..airpad,pillow combo for 80$?not sure of the weight but for several years until you can upgrade..could be good stuff...

For sure some good deals, not sure about the quality? Their minimalist 1 person tent without poles weighs nearly 3 lbs, so it must be pretty durable fabric. Good beginner on a budget. https://www.rivercountryproducts.com/

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Not sure where you're seeing that these are made in WA. On the website I see "designed in WA", which is different.

I'm not sure I'd encourage anyone to take a 3 pound PU coated tent that is certainly not well seam sealed into the wet side of the state. Nothing will turn you off to Backpacking quicker than floating in your tent... There's so many better options like the protrail, lunar solo, or a solomid that could be had at right around $200; that would be much lighter and much better made.

Ah yes perhaps designed in WA is correct.. And the materials should be researched but obviously tents all need seam sealing...dugh.. I guess if rei. is offering the basic combo package for? $225 or 250$ I would rec.that...bag pad & tent.. We inspected the tents & they looked good 3 or 4 years ago....heavy osh. Bit good for 3 or 4 years of hiking. Poly.coated is not great vs.something like sil.coated or impregnated nylon.. Six moons designs seems to be out of all tents but the cheapest 135$ solo tent.. (better material in the 200$ range)
