Infrared flight last night was UTF - Unable To Fly.
Joey; in the fire world - at least in the wildland fire world - “UTF” means ‘Unable to Fill’. When an order is placed for a particular resource, whether it is for crews, aircraft, engines…or an IR flight, AND that order can NOT be filled- for whatever reason -then it comes back to the person ordering it as ‘UTF’. Nothing to do with flying at all.
