News reports say the Washington coast experienced minor surges of a foot or less. This drone footage shows effects in Santa Cruz which, if they occurred on the WA coast, would have been significant for beach travelers. Good overview report from Oregon Live.

I grew up in Japan and partly because of that I record and watch the Sumo tournaments. The entire coverage of the tournament was superseded by tracking of the tsunami progressively impacting the coast of Japan with from .5 to 1 meter surges. Understandably, the country is still sensitive to the power of tsunamis based on their experience in 2011.
Was at Camino Island SP about 100' above the sound when it was supposed to come in. Saw some odd currents but did not know if they were normal or not. Another person said he saw series of waves hit beach 15 min earlier with no boat visible. Whatever.
