Greetings,
I have been backpacking out to Cape Alava out of Lake Ozette in NW Washington for almost 25 years, but have been diagnosed with cancer in the past year, and still have my chemotherapy port in so can't wear a backpack. My group isn't able to carry my weight, so I am looking for someone to hire to carry my pack out, and 4 days later, carry it back. Ideally, it would be someone local to Forks, Sekui, Clallum Bay, or maybe Port Angeles.
Does anyone have an idea of how to find someone who might be interested in this? I figured since it would take the whole day for someone to get there, and hike out and back, I might pay something like $150 each way. Does that seem fair?

Try contacting Lost lake resort out at lake Ozette. They maybe able to help.

Thank you, I did contact Lost Lake and this is what they suggested -- using various social media sites....

You should add the dates -- everyone has a schedule of things they need to do.
