**ALERT** The Mt. Baker Highway State Route 542 will be closed Sunday, September 12 in both directions from 7 a.m - 12 noon between mile 35 at Snowater Resort to the terminus at mile 57.3 at Artist Point for the Mt. Baker Hill Climb bicycle event.
The only Forest Service roads and trails east of Glacier that will be accessible in a vehicle during the closure will be Glacier Creek Road #39 (Heliotrope Ridge Trail) and Deadhorse Road #37 (Skyline Divide Trail).
