Thanks for posting this carlb328. Very sad news. From the article posted above he appears to have been hunting near Whistlin' Jack Lodge and fell several hundred feet in steep, rugged, snow-covered terrain. My sincere condolences to his family and friends ~z

My son's hockey coach is a firefighter and was a close friend of Schreckengost. He and other firefighters spent a week and a half helping with the S&R. Obviously a very sad outcome, but he felt it was a relief and a blessing to find the body on that day, which was the last day they were planning to search.
