Apologies in advance for posting a Youtube video, but I thought this short video was interesting. The gist of it is that while the risk of eruption hasn't really increased, Mt St Helen's magma chamber has started refilling for the first time since the 04-08 eruptions and this could precede some new volcanic activity at some point (fumaroles, lava dome activity, etc).

There were definitely active fumaroles from the dome the last time I climbed it.
